Privacy

Your tests run directly in your browser. This page explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The site has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics scripts, no advertising, and it does not set cookies. It does not read your clipboard, camera, microphone, or location.

What happens when you run a test

Every test pattern and tone is generated on your device. Your results are never sent anywhere, and the site does not store them. If you close the tab, the test is gone.

Microphone, camera and input tests

The microphone and camera tests ask your browser for permission before they start, and you can revoke that permission at any time in your browser settings. The audio and video stay inside the page: the microphone test only draws a level meter, the recording test keeps its clip in memory until you delete it or close the tab, and the camera tests only show a preview. Nothing is recorded to disk, stored or uploaded. Keyboard, mouse, touch and gamepad tests read your input only to draw it on the page.

Server logs

The site is served as static files from Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare may keep short-lived, aggregate request logs (for example, the number of requests and the country they came from) for security and reliability. We do not add any tracking on top of that and do not have access to data that identifies individual visitors.

Fonts and third parties

The font used on this site is served from the same place as the pages, not from a third-party font service. No third-party scripts run on any page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
