Terms of use

Short and plain. Using the site means you agree to these terms.

Free to use

CheckYourDisplay is free for personal and commercial use. You do not need an account, and you may link to any page on the site.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are, without any warranty. They are intended for basic testing and troubleshooting. They cannot reliably diagnose every hardware problem, and they cannot physically repair damaged hardware. Results depend on your device, browser, settings, and environment, and should not be treated as a professional measurement.

Use at your own risk

  • The Pixel Fixer displays a rapidly flashing pattern. Do not use it if you are sensitive to flashing lights or have a history of photosensitive seizures.
  • The audio tools can produce loud tones. Lower your volume before starting, especially with headphones, and stop if anything is uncomfortable.
  • Do not press on, rub, or apply heat to a screen in an attempt to fix pixels. That can cause permanent damage.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckYourDisplay is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
