Browser Capability Test

Every test on this site depends on a browser feature. This checklist shows which of those features your browser supports, so you know what will work before you start.

Supported means the feature exists in this browser, not that it works well or that permission will be granted. Some features only appear on secure pages.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.

How to use

  1. Read the list. A check mark means the feature exists in this browser; a cross means it does not.
  2. If a test on this site does not work, look for its feature here first.
  3. Update the browser or try another one if a feature you need is missing.

What this test can detect

  • Missing features that would stop a test from running, such as Web Audio or fullscreen.
  • Whether media devices and WebRTC are available. Media devices also need a secure (HTTPS) page.
  • Whether touch events and the Gamepad API are present.

Important

  • Supported means the feature exists, not that it works well. A browser can support WebGL and still be slow, or support media devices and still be denied access by the operating system.
  • Some features only appear on secure pages or after a permission is granted.
  • JavaScript is always shown as supported here because the list itself is built with it.
